Comparison and selection of blister packaging and body packaging

Although blister packaging and body packaging are the same type of packaging, due to their slightly different packaging methods, each has its own advantages and disadvantages. After comparison, they can be selected according to their characteristics and packaging requirements of the goods.

Second, the choice of blister packaging and body packaging The choice of blister and body packaging is mainly based on their different characteristics, in accordance with certain principles in order to select:
(1) The protective principle of packaging. Because the purpose of our packaging is to protect the goods, facilitate storage and transportation, and promote sales. If the packaged goods are within the validity period, the occurrence of mildew, deliquescence or dehydration caking, rust and other changes, then the use of the packaging is a failure, usually easy to damp and rot and more blister packaging products.
(2) The principle of convenience and efficiency of packaging operations. Blister packaging is relatively easy to achieve automated assembly line production, so workers have low labor intensity and high production efficiency, but it takes more time and effort to replace the molds when replacing products. It is difficult to realize automatic assembly lines for body packaging, and production efficiency is low, but mold replacement is not required. Therefore, the mass production of a single type is usually used for the packaging of blister packs such as tablets, and it is more convenient for a variety of small-volume production kits to be used.
(3) The principle of minimizing packaging costs. One-time investment costs for blister packs are higher, and body packs are more manual. Blister packs are used for high-volume, high-volume commercial production of low-volume packaging, and body packs for high-volume, high-volume products are more costly than blister packs.
(4) The principle of good aesthetics and ease of use. In the premise of ensuring that the commodities are not deteriorated, the packaging is convenient, and the cost is low, the aesthetics and the convenient packaging method should be used as far as possible to facilitate the sales.
In summary, the advantages of blister packs for high-volume pharmaceutical, food, and small-item packaging are outstanding. For example, the cost of a blister pack containing 1000 ballpoint pens is 24% less than that of the same amount of bodypack plastics; on the other hand, some larger items such as kitchen utensils, hand tools, and TV antennas are packaged at a much lower cost than skin packs. Hood packaging is much cheaper. For some products with complex shapes or worn and fragile products, body-fitting packaging is cheap and reliable. Because the body package does not require a mold, and the plastic sheet is vacuum-molded, the product can be firmly tied to the substrate and is not easily shaken during transport and handling. In addition, because the body packaging substrate has small holes, its aesthetics and gas barrier properties are not as good as blister packs.
