The COUPLERC-70, a pre-treatment agent developed by Japan's Mayer Corporation and used for ink-jet printing reactive dye inks, is a special non-ionic surfactant with a pale yellow liquid and a neutral pH.
The researchers added 3% COUPLERC-70 to sodium alginate and did not add COUPLERC-70 to pretreat fabrics and ink-jet printing contrast tests. The test results show that the color of fabrics treated with COUPLERC-70, a special pretreating agent added to sodium alginate, is significantly darker than that of COUPLERC-70.
COUPLERC-70 is used for the dyeing and printing of cotton and cellulose fibers, which can significantly increase the dye fixation rate.
