one. Select the hidden object

When designing graphics with CorelDraw 8.0, it may be inspiration and thoughts. Suddenly, he was in trouble when he chose to hide small objects under large objects. Despite all his efforts, he still failed. In this way, the inspiration may not be easy to disappear as time goes by. In fact, if you follow the steps below, choosing a hidden object is very simple:

(1) Press ESC to cancel the selection of any object;

(2) Then click "Select tool" in the toolbar;

(3) Finally hold down the Alt key to click on the middle of the large object.

See if you want it? You may be skeptical about the effectiveness of the above method, but the best way to dispel doubts is to try it yourself.

two. Implement "smart copy"

Many graphics processing software has the function of object copying. CorelDraw8.0 also provides many methods for copying objects (including using + sign, shortcut keys and menus). However, the "smart copy" function (that is, the objects are arranged according to the law) is unique. The steps to achieve "smart copy" are as follows:
(1) Select the object to be copied using "Selection Tool";

(2) Click "Edit/Rework" or "Edit/Clone" (in this case, you cannot use the plus sign to copy);
(3) Move the copied object to a certain position, and then click "Edit/Remake".

At this point, the three objects will be arranged in a regular pattern. If you repeat the operation again, more objects can be arranged according to the law. This function is very useful when dealing with the graphics composed of repeated objects. It is also very convenient. If you want to accurately set the relative position of the remake object and the original object, you can Before clicking the object, click Tools/Options. In the Options dialog box, click Workspace/Edit to enter the Options dialog box. In the "Remake position" text box, you can enter the corresponding value: a positive value will offset the copied object to the right and upward, and a negative value will offset to the left and the right.

three. Copy fill

Sometimes we need to “copy” the padding of a well-designed object to other objects (these objects include text). The method is as follows: first use the selection tool to select the first object, then use the right mouse button to drag it to the object to be copied, release the mouse, and finally click “Copy Fill” from the shortcut menu that pops up. The same method can be used to duplicate the outline of an object.

four. Change the color of the object and add different shades of color

Although the colors of the palette are already abundant, the saturation of the colors is the same. This sometimes brings inconvenience to our design work. Using a palette to change the tone concentration of an object, the process is this:

(1) Select objects with selection tools;

(2) Hold down the Ctrl key to click on the color on the palette (requires different colors from the original fill);

(3) Repeat the above process to increase the hue.

You can add different shades of color to an object by using the following methods: Hold down the Ctrl key while clicking on the color of the palette and hold down the mouse.

Regarding the hue operation, keep in mind this very useful trick: Right-click on the palette to set the color of the object's frame or path, hold down the Ctrl key and right-click on the palette to change the color shade of the frame and path.
