1. Test items:

1. Random printing imitation printing ink ink can express a large color space (compared with Zhejiang Guangbo Group and ISOcoated_v2_eci.icc curve) and output proofing ability

2. Feel free to print imitation printing ink ink printing picture effect

Second, test hardware, software, paper and environmental factors

1. Hardware equipment: EPSON printer, Eye-One IO, DELL2709W LCD display

2. Test software: EFI Colorproof XF 4.0, ColorThink Pro3.0.1b22, ColorPort1.5.4, Monaco CamutWorks, ProfileMaker—ProfileEditor

3. Test paper: 180g coated paper

4. Environment: D50 standard light source, room temperature 20 degrees, humidity 70%

Third, the test process

1. Feel free to print the large color space and follow-up ability that can be expressed by imitation printing ink and ink (take 180g coated paper as reference)

2. The curve SP7800_1440x720_140709_101344.ICC generated by the digital proofing software EFI Colorproof XF 4.0 is adjusted to obtain the maximum color gamut space as follows (when L = 50)

The color disk in Figure (1) represents the color gamut space of LAB. The red line represents the maximum color gamut range of EPSON7800. Yellow is the maximum color gamut of the curve of Zhejiang Guangbo Printing Factory. From the 2D diagram, it can be seen that the overall color gamut is basically covered.

Next, take a look at the LAB color space 3D mode, look at their situation. A axis means red-green, B axis means yellow-blue, L axis means gray axis, from Figure (2), Figure (3) We clearly see that whether it is red, green, yellow, blue, bright or dark, the curves made with random imitation printing inks and inks perfectly cover the curves of Zhejiang Guangbo Printing Factory

The following is a comparison of the curve made by random imitation printing ink and ink and ISOcoated_v2_eci as shown in figure (4) (when L = 50)

From 2D, the overall color gamut of the EPSON7800 curve basically covers ISOcoated_v2_eci. In order to observe the curve more intuitively, we can also switch to 3D, as shown in Figures (5) and (6).

The 3D graph shows that there is only a little coverage, and the color gamut is about 99%, but EFI has a simulation optimization function. After optimization, the average value of â–³ E is 0.74, the peak value is 3.98, and the paper white is 1.9, which is enough to simulate the ISOcoated_v2_eci diagram Show.

3. Test printed grayscale pictures

The gray scale color target is made by ColorPort software as shown in figure (8)
