The State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) implemented a market access system for plastic food packaging bags as early as July 2006. Manufacturers of food plastic packaging bags must obtain a “QS” production license, and merchants and consumers should purchase food products.
