New large passenger aircraft will use a large amount of composite materials

According to Ticona, 40% of the new 550 Super Airbus passenger cars will be made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic composites. Ticona's Fortron PPS will serve as a composite substrate for the front wing components of the new A380 passenger aircraft wing.
