Method 1: Look at the grade of the board
The amount of formaldehyde released from the board is a certain standard. At present, the national standard for furniture panels is e1, that is, the formaldehyde emission is 0.5mg/i~1.5mg/i; and the e0 standard with formaldehyde emission less than 0.5mg/i is the European standard that will be adopted in China. This type of sheet is currently the most environmentally friendly on the market, but the price is also more expensive. For example, the price of blockboard (sandwich board) is above 140 yuan / square meter; the price of decorative board is also above 100 yuan / square meter; and the floor is more than 200 yuan / square meter.
Method 2: Look at the certification
Any board that claims to be environmentally friendly must have the ten-ring certification mark of the Green Building Materials of the State Environmental Protection Administration. This is the main criterion for measuring the scale, product quality and comprehensive strength of a furniture brand. Method 3: Look at the report
Whether the furniture is environmentally friendly requires the merchant to provide the inspection report of the authority above the provincial level, and the inspection report must be the quality inspection department of the place of sale. For the specific identification method, we take the blockboard (sandwich plate) as an example: the plates produced by regular manufacturers will be clearly printed with specifications, grades, inspection-free conditions, and formaldehyde release levels on the sides of the plates.
Therefore, when we buy furniture, we cannot rely solely on the presence or absence of odor as a basis for judging whether a piece of furniture is environmentally friendly and non-polluting. Many furniture manufacturers claim that their furniture is absolutely environmentally friendly and absolutely green, but it does not write the corresponding indicators into the contract. The verbal explanation is meaningless. Consumers must go out of this misunderstanding and use scientific methods to purchase furniture. Don't just listen to the salesman's bragging. If a piece of furniture meets environmental standards, ask the salesperson to produce evidence--test report, which is the only way to ensure peace of mind for consumers to buy.
