Graphic Seven-Star Drift

Seven-Star drift is mainly used in condescending places, such as on the dam wall of a dam, on a bridge, when the water level of the fishing ground is low, on a higher fishing spot, on a higher river bank, and so on. Because the fishing spot is too high, the view angle of the tail float is so small that it is impossible to see the small movements. At this time, the Seven Stars float is in use. Seven-star floats originate from traditional fishing methods. Plumb bobs are heavy. Floats do not refer to plumb bobs as semi-water. They are always lead sinkers. However, in recent years, the introduction of the Chinese Lulu (monitoring) by Taiwan fishing (sports) has become the mainstream technique and the traditional seven-star drift is also combined with the Taiwan fishing line group. So, how can seven floats be adjusted?

First, seven-star drift selection:

Commercially available seven-star floats (6, 5, etc.) can be used. It can also be homemade. Use goose feathers (goose wings). Remove all the fur, leaving only the middle hairy stems. Rooting position, cut into small pieces of equal length of about 1 cm, cut several paragraphs to choose from. Select the seven segments that are basically the same in size and penetrate the main line. Can also be used small plastic blocks, foam (packaging) mash, choose the same size of foam ball ... ... a lot of homemade methods, not one by one. The size of the Seven Drift is determined by the target fish.

Special Note: Before moving the seven-star drift on the main line, be sure to enter the water, it is best to move in the water (put a water basin around). The purpose is to prevent the main line from degrading performance due to overheating.

Second, the traditional fishing method:

1. Lead drop selection. The weight of the lead sinker is slightly greater than the floating float force. There is no special requirement for the shape of the plumb bob, which can be round, oval or date-shaped.

2. Adjust. There is only one way to adjust the position of the seven-star drift, so that the middle of a star flag slanting surface, three stars underwater, three stars lying on the water. The underwater three stars are in a certain degree of arc (seven stars have a large arc shift as a whole, and the overall downward arc is small). The distance between each star is adjusted according to the size of the target and the fish. The distance between the fish is large and the distance between the fish is small. The adjustment of the degree of sensitivity is to adjust the degree of bending of the main star of the underwater three stars. The greater the curvature of the bend, the more blunt the vertical sagging is the most sensitive.

Third, the new fishing method:

The new fishing method is actually a combination of traditional fishing seven-star drift and Taiwan fishing line group. The following are examples of double hook wire groups.

1. Line group. The line group used is basically the same as the line group used for standing floats. The difference is to replace the floater with Seven Stars. The Seven Drift is actually a large space bean, so there is no need to locate the floating space beans, but there are also signs of deep space beans.

2. Adjust the initial state. Adjusting the initial state is to adjust the bait-free state first, which is similar to the “adjustment” of the vertical drift adjustment. Seven stars are now distributed at one and a half pitches, and then the heavy lead is tested on the float (finding the bottom). When you find the bottom (don't forget to subtract the length of the strand), the water depth sign (Space beans above the seven-star float) should not move. Looking for the bottom can also be hooked with lead to find the bottom, then there is no need to reduce the length of the strand. Then we need to shift the whole of the stars down by 10 to 20 centimeters (ensure that the double hooks are off the bottom, ie "half water"). Hook half water (or no hook half water) adjust the lead, adjust to the fourth star tilt floating in the water state. At this point, the three stars in the water are basically vertically sagged. Initial adjustment is completed.

3. Adjust the fishing state. Equivalent to vertical drift adjustment "fishing." The first single hook bait to try a few stars on the surface of the sinking of a few stars, so there are a few hearts. Then shift the Qixing float back to the depth of the sign space beans. Single hook with lead (or bait) to find the bottom (exactly find the bottom). After finding the true bottom, double-hook bait, adjust the underwater three-star arc, the fourth star floats on the water surface, the top three stars float on the water surface (using seven stars as a whole to move up or down) . After adjusting the fishing status, try fishing.

4. Adjustability. After adjusting the fishing status, it can only be said that the "floating" of the "Seven Stars" is well adjusted, and that after the trial fishing, the most suitable sensitivity is adjusted. This may be repeated several times. This is tweaking and bluntness. The closer the seven stars are, the faster the response is, and the smaller the arc of the three stars (main line) is, the more sensitive it is. Therefore, the spirit and blunt can be combined with the underwater three-star bending degree and the star spacing adjustment. For example, three stars on the surface of the water are quickly dragged into the water to lift the empty hooks, which means that it is too spiritual, increase the distance between the stars, and increase the arc of the main star of the underwater three stars. Increasing the arc is to move the seven stars upwards. To decrease the arc is to move the seven stars downwards as a whole.

After the seven-star drift has been adjusted, it cannot be done once and for all. Because the seven-star drift is the same as the vertical drift, there is also the problem of “drinking water”, and the seven-star bleaching and draughting is much more serious than the vertical drifting. Therefore, after fishing for some time to test the initial state and fishing state, if any changes, timely adjustments.

The above method is only a "method" and absolutely cannot be used as a "standard". For example, you can adjust the initial state to float five stars on the surface, or float two stars on the surface of the water. Specifically how to adjust the drift, according to the actual situation, according to the characteristics of the target fish to make appropriate adjustments. There is no need for beginners to memorize the above-mentioned stars and stars. What you have to remember is the method of drifting and the principles therein. The key to mastery is still "comprehension."
