DuPont Fluoroelastomer Processing Aid Application Growth

According to Du Pont Dow Elastomers, the demand for fluoroelastomer processing aids Viton FreeFlow Z100 and Z200 shows a good growth. These two PE film processing auxiliaries are effective even when the masterbatch concentration is low, and can eliminate the phenomenon of extrusion melt fracture, shorten the processing time, and increase the film production. The product also allows the die to accumulate few extruded products, improving the smoothness, transparency and gloss of the formed film surface. These two grades are products that were successfully developed in the early 1990s and are the earliest new processing aid technologies for the plastics industry. They are currently manufactured on an industrial scale and have been approved by the US FDA for use in applications related to food contact.
