Agfa Launches New Type: Acento LF Thermal CTP System

Agfa launched the Acento LF system last week, which is a reasonably-priced thermal CTP system for offset printing companies that want to adopt digital plate-making processes, especially in emerging markets.

: Acento LF can bring all the benefits of digital platemaking technology to users at a lower cost. It not only has a higher plate quality, but also is very reliable to use. It can produce up to 11 printing plates between 450370mm and 1060820 mm per hour. In addition, Acento LF also features semi-automatic loading and manual unloading, which can save users the cost and footprint of the equipment.

Marc Op de Beeck, VP of Global Sales at Agfa, said: “The adoption rate of CTP in many markets is very alarming. To meet the needs of customers for fast, low-cost high-quality platemaking systems, we have developed: Acento LF system."

It is understood that: Acento LF will be officially listed in May 2007.
