Relief cylinder (1-4 #), cross-ink roller (6 #), oscillating ink roller (13 #) and transmission roller (11 #) must be adjusted after installation.
All other rollers in the ink transfer device need not be adjusted.
The ink fountain roller (14 #) is adjusted together with the oscillating ink roller.

Note that all loosened screws should be retightened after adjustment.
Otherwise there is a risk of damage to the machine!

Before inking in the ink fountain, a rough adjustment must be made with a strip of paper. After all the rollers are installed, after the coarse adjustment and the ink fountain inking, make the fine adjustment again.

Install ink roller (6 #)
After all four form rollers are loaded, load the ink roller.
Introduce the smooth inking roller journal into the bearing that can be turned over.
Introduce the threaded ink roller journal into the bearing of the transmission surface.

Required tools:
Two truncated fork wrenches SW24 from the random tool must be used for loading and unloading.

When loosening or tightening the ink roller nut, there must be no force on the transmission system.

The process is as follows:
Clamp the lock nut with a shortened fork wrench SW24. Use the second truncated fork wrench SW24 to tighten or loosen the other nut.

If this method is not followed, there is a risk of damage to the machine!

The ink leveling roller (No. 15) generally does not need to be readjusted after loading. During the operation of the machine, the handle of the transmission surface can be used to disengage the ink leveling roller. This makes it easy to distribute ink manually on the roller. The support of the ink leveling roller must be adjusted so that the roller can be fully raised and stationary.

If this is not the case, the support must be adjusted again. (Turn the hex screw SW17 under the ink leveling roller under the operation surface)

Adjusted by version ink roller (1-4 #) and cross-ink roller (6 #)

First, roughly adjust the pressure on the plate ink roller (1-3) and cross-ink roller (7, 8 #), then adjust the pressure on the plate. When coarsely adjusting the pressure between the plate roller and the printing plate, the liner of the printing plate should be standard.

Adjust the inking roller by turning the eccentric bolts on both sides of the machine.

Adjustment process:
For this purpose, a paper strip with a thickness of 0.1 mm must be inserted between the rollers at about 10 cm on both ends of the ink rollers. Adjust the form ink roller until the two paper strips can be pulled out evenly and smoothly.

Note: Oiled paper strips should be used when adjusting new rollers.

Coarse adjustment between the inking roller (6 #) and the inking roller (3 #).

Required tools:
Allen wrench SW6

Adjustment process:
Loosen the locking screw (SW6).
Add a 0.1mm thick paper strip between the ink string and the form roller.
Adjust the ink inking roller by turning the eccentric wheel until the paper strip can be pulled out under light tension. Then tighten the screws.
With the help of the scale on the eccentric sheath, the adjustment of the inking roller can be accurately determined.
During disassembly and new installation, the original adjustment can be restored.

Regulation guidelines:
The 0.1mm thick paper strip must be able to be pulled out smoothly between the cross roller and the form roller.

The adjustment between the inking roller (6 #) and the inking roller (4 #):

Hexagon wrench SW6

Adjustment process:
Put a 0.1mm thick paper strip between the ink roller and the form ink roller.
Adjust the ink inking roller by turning the adjusting screw at the end of the ink inking roller until the paper strip can be pulled out under a light tension.

Adjustment standard:
The 0.1mm thick paper strip must be able to be pulled out smoothly between the ink roller and the form roller.
After all the rollers of the ink transfer device and the wetting device are installed, the pressure between the inking roller and the ink stick and the printing plate is finely adjusted.

Ink must be loaded in the ink fountain and in the ink transfer device.

Fine adjustment of ink roller (7/8 #)

Adjustment process:
Jog the stationary machine slightly forward and backward. An ink bar can be seen on the form roller and transmission roller.
The ink bar should be about 4mm wide. In addition, it must also be noted that its width should be uniform.
If there are discrepancies, the adjustment of the form roller must be corrected.

Adjustment process:
The ink bar must be uniform in width. Ink bar width: 4mm.
Adjustment with plate cylinder:
Relief roller 1.2.3 # is adjusted with the knob on the outside of the unit.
Turn clockwise to increase the pressure on the plate cylinder.
The dials on these knobs can be removed by pressing on one side of the disk edge. We recommend setting the number 0 in the upward position after the basic adjustment.
The plate roller 4 # is adjusted with screws on the inside of the body.

Tools used:
Hexagon socket head SW6 or screwdriver SW6

Adjustment process:
Jog the machine along the car until you can see the plate drum groove.
Close the plate roller when the machine is stationary.
The on-time machine is about 20mm.
Then take off the plate roller.
Point the machine until you can see the ink stick on the roller. Adjust the form roller with the width of the ink bar! However, for this purpose, the second ink stick should be measured, because the impact of the first through the inking roller may be incorrect.

Adjustment standard:
The width of the second ink bar (without the ink bar): the plate rollers 1.2 and 3 are 4mm; the plate roller 4 # is 3mm.
In addition, it is also possible to roughly check the adjustment between the form roller and the form cylinder while the machine is running.
Use the probe 4 on the operation surface and the transmission surface to check the form roller 1.2.3 #. If you feel that these form rollers are regularly raised during the machine operation, it means that the pressure between them and the roller is too big.
Need to readjust.

Fine adjustment between the squeegee roller (No. 6) and the form roller (No. 3, 4).

Required tools:
Hexagon socket head SW5 / SW6

Adjustment process:
The adjustment process is a little bit positive and negative.
An ink bar can be seen on the form roller and the inking roller. The ink roller should be 4mm wide.
If there are discrepancies, the adjustment of the ink fountain roller must be corrected.

Adjustment standard:
The ink bar must be uniform in width.
Ink bar width: 4mm
Adjusted by the plate ink roller relative to the center of the plate cylinder

With the hand wheel on the operation surface, the pressure of all the plate rollers of a unit can be adjusted collectively.
The scale on the handwheel shows the adjusted scale.

For example: Plate pad 0.1mm
In order for these form rollers to be evenly closed, they must all be separated from the plate cylinder by 0.1 mm. To do this, turn the handwheel counterclockwise. Until the pointer points to the -0.1 scale position.
Adjustment of the swing ink feed roller The swing ink feed roller (No. 13) is inserted into the set bush and fixed.

Adjustment process:
Coarse adjustment: The machine is on time until the movement of the swinging roller toward the inking roller is completely completed.
First loosen the roller screw 1 completely, and then gently tighten it by hand. Adjust the swing roller by turning the screw 2 so that it evenly rests on the ink roller.
To this end, several paper strips with a thickness of 0.1 mm are placed between the swing roller and the inking roller.
Adjust the swing roller until all the paper strips can be pulled out smoothly.
Then tighten the roller screw 1 again;
Fine adjustment: Jog the machine until you can see the ink stick on the roller.
Check the ink bar width.

Adjustments can be corrected only when the machine is at a standstill.
Otherwise there is a risk of injury!

Adjustment standard:

If the oscillating roller is adjusted too close to the ink inking roller, loosen all screws and push the oscillating roller toward the ink fountain roller to start the adjustment process from the beginning. It is not necessary to reset the adjusting screw.
The adjustment of the ink fountain roller relative to the oscillating roller must always be carried out after the adjustment relative to the ink fountain roller!
In order to access the adjustment device, the tray on the printing unit must be removed. Below this, the adjustment screw of the ink fountain roller can be seen on the operation surface and the transmission surface.

Required tools:
Hexagon socket head SW10

Adjustment process:
1. Set the handle-swing to the ink roller to the "closed" position. 2. "Point" the machine until the swing roller is against the ink roller. Put a 0.1mm thick paper strip before going up.
3. Rotate the adjustment screws on the operation surface and the transmission surface until the ink fountain roller is even and parallel to the upper swing roller.
4. Adjust with ink a) Turn the ink fountain roller-switch to 0.
b) Turn the handle to position III c) "Point" the machine until the swinging roller comes up.
d) Disengage the swing roller from the ink fountain roller by "just point".
e) Continue to turn the ink fountain roller slightly until the impression of the roller formed is visible.
f) Rotate the ± screws of the operation surface and transmission surface with the SW10 head until the roller indentation is 4mm

Adjustment standard:
The oscillating ink feed roller must rest on the ink fountain roller evenly and in parallel.
Ink bar width: 4mm

The adjustment device is located behind the unit door.

It can only be adjusted when the machine is stationary! !

Adjustment process:
It can be adjusted by pulling out and turning the handle 3, and the engagement position of the third gear marked with red dots.
Small point: The ink line is short, and the ink beat is "slow" (the ink is fed once per paper). It is suitable for uniform small amount of ink supply (area coverage to 20%).
For example, a printed layout with a lot of text.
Midpoint: Long ink line, "slow" to the ink beat. It is suitable for most printing layouts (area coverage 20% ~ 50%).
Big point: long ink feed line, "double faster" ink feed beats (feed ink every 3 sheets). It is suitable for high ink supply.

The prerequisite is to use "big dots" when transferring data from a plate scanner / COLORTRPNIC (ink feeding every 3 sheets).

Ink transfer roller adjustment The ink transfer roller (No. 11) must be adjusted relative to the inking rollers (No. 10, 12).

Required tools:
Hexagon wrench SW6 / SW4

Adjustment process:
Coarse adjustment: Adjust the roller by turning the screw until the 0.1mm paper strip can be pulled out smoothly.
Fine adjustment: Jog the machine until you see the ink bar. Ink bar width check!

Only check when the machine is stationary!

Transverse series adjustment The transmission device for adjusting the horizontal series is located on the transmission surface of the machine.
The adjusting device can steplessly adjust the cross-stroke of the cross-ink rollers at No. 8 and No. 12, from 0 to 36 mm, and change the turning point.
The traverse stroke of No. 6 roller is 0 to 12mm.
Adjustment of tandem travel

Required tools:
Wrench SW24

Adjustment process:
After opening the cover, jog the machine in sequence until the scale is at the right corner of the universal ball joint.
Loosen the lock nut.
By moving the handle of the universal ball joint, the specific value of the horizontal string can be adjusted by means of the scale. Then tighten the lock nut.

Adjustment of turning point

Symbols indicate various positions of the fold-back and intermediate positions related to the length of the printing plate.
At the same time, the symbol area shows the distribution of ink on the paper.

E.g:

If the printing start requires more ink than the printing terminal, this symbol should be selected.

Required tools:
Hexagon wrench SW8

Adjustment process:
Loosen the four roller screws and jog the machine along the car.
At this time, the disc with the symbol rotates counterclockwise. Jog the machine until the desired symbol is below the arrow.
The right end of the symbol shows the start of printing.
Tighten these four roller screws again.
Starting torque 50Nm
