SAVI launches new container RFID active electronic tag

SAVI Technology recently released a new RFID active electronic tag ST-656 for military and commercial container tracking. Savi's ST-656 electronic tag can work in extremely harsh environments. Its internal RF transceivers, controllers, and memory chips are designed to withstand harsh, ice, water and other harsh natural environments.

The ST-656 has a U-shaped container entry door bolt. The tag's antenna is designed to be in a flat floor and is exposed outside the container door during work. A buzzer is also designed inside the flat bottom board to indicate the position and status of the label.

ST-656 has 128K bytes of memory capacity, the working air interface protocol is ISO18000-7, and the frequency band is 433.92MHz. The operating temperature is -40°C to +70°C, the fixed reader reading distance is 300 feet (about 90 meters), and the mobile reader reading distance is 200 feet (about 60 meters). The built-in power supply is a 3.6V lithium battery and can work for more than 5 years.

The company also released Savi's customer intelligence guidance kit, which includes integrated software, hardware, and active tags. Customers can use this kit directly to manage, inventory and track assets in a closed loop environment. Using SAVI's software, customers can create a simple map of the location of the device and set alarm areas. When the specified item leaves the area, the system will send an alarm message to the administrator through a web page, mail, or cell phone. The customer smart boot kit costs about $50,000.
