Why is this? There are two reasons: the first paper itself becomes softer and the second one is that the glue absorbs moisture in the air and fails to form false glue. It is known that the glue used in corrugated board is composed of protopine, borax, starch, water and the like. Since the nature of the caustic soda (NaOH) and the starch itself easily absorbs moisture, the above problems are easily caused.

The paperboard with this water-resistant composite additive can be immersed in water for 24 hours without degumming. This shows that the water-resistant effect of this product is extraordinary. Cardboard soaked in water without using this product will generally not exceed half an hour.
