Yesterday, the national outdoor safety education program tour lecture was held at the Tianhe Sports Center in Guangzhou. Many famous mountaineering and outdoor sports experts from the country attended a meaningful outdoor sports education class for hundreds of people who came here.
The National Outdoor Safety Education Program is a large-scale public welfare activity launched by the China Mountaineering Association under the guidance and support of the General Administration of Sport of China. It aims to address the continuing rise in outdoor sports and the frequent occurrence of outdoor security accidents. Facing the society, it advocates scientific, safe and environmentally-friendly outdoor sports concepts, popularizes outdoor safety knowledge, and promotes the healthy and sustainable development of outdoor sports.
From 2013 to 2015, China Mountaineering Association held 38 public lectures in 20 provinces. The event was sponsored by the China Mountaineering Association, organized by the Guangzhou Municipal Mass Sports Guidance Center and the Guangzhou Extreme Mountaineering Association.
