3.2.1.2 PSP tableware does not have the conditions to produce dioxins

PSP's main raw materials are polystyrene (PS), talcum powder, hard fatty acid calcium, butane and so on. The production process of PS is that the styrene monomer is polymerized in a sealed reaction crucible under the action of high temperature and high pressure and a catalyst. Although styrene contains a benzene ring compound, the reaction is carried out under sealed chlorine-free conditions so that no dioxins are produced.

PSP is directly using PS material, adding butane and other additives, etc., through extrusion, foaming, the production process is all physical mixing process, no chemical reaction. PSP tableware is vacuum thermoformed and immediately packed into a carton after being molded into a PE film bag. Because the PSP tableware is a container that is in direct contact with food, its hygienic properties must comply with the requirements of the national standard (GB13119-91). Therefore, PSP will not In contact with the outside environment, even if traces of chlorine-containing gas are present in the air, it will not be contaminated. The use of PSP tableware is now packaged. When the hot food is left over, the temperature is no more than 100°C.

Based on the above raw material composition, process flow, and analysis of several aspects of the use process, it can be clearly seen that during the production and use of PSP tableware, it does not have, does not produce, and may not contaminate substances that produce dioxin. Therefore, it can be concluded that PSP tableware has nothing to do with dioxin.
