● Flexo printing can both print the field version and print the cable version

After the compression deformation of the printing plate, the corrugated paperboard can be well contacted. The high corrugated area will not produce severe marks or even crushing due to excessive pressure.

● Flexo printing can use water-based ink

Flexographic printing uses a metal anilox ink transfer system that can use aqueous inks. Water-based inks are used to print corrugated paperboards, which require only light contact with the corrugated board. Waterborne inks are almost completely absorbed.

●The flexo printer has a simple structure

The corrugated paper box has a large area and the length of the paperboard can reach 2-3m. If offset printing is used, the equipment is huge and operation and maintenance are difficult. The structure of the flexo press is simple and the four rollers are made into one color group. After the diameter of the roller is increased, the mechanical performance and stability can be improved. Loading, adjusting and cleaning are very convenient.

● Can be combined with other processing equipment to form a linkage production line

Because of its simple structure, the flexo printing press can be produced in conjunction with other processes. Nowadays, most corrugated board printing presses are combined with creasing machines and slotting machines for on-line production. It is used for indentation, slotting, die cutting and gluing. The box making and counting device together form a printing production line, which can directly print the corrugated box once.

Modern corrugated carton flexo printing mainly has two production processes: post-printing and pre-printing. Post-printing is the output of the corrugated board, which is then printed on a sheet-fed flexo printing machine. Slotting, die-cutting and other processes can be completed with printing. Pre-printing is to print the corrugated cardboard firstly before the production of corrugated cardboard, then send the printed noodle paper to the tile line to produce a color-faced corrugated cardboard, and then convey the next process to form a box. Among them, preprinting is the most widely used process in today's corrugated flexo printing.
