3M Introduces Translucent Film Printing Equipment

3M introduced a 2500 UV large-format press with a round press UV curing press for translucent film printing. The device belongs to a multicolor fabric printing machine. Its width can reach 249cm, at the same time can be used for platform printing and fabric printing.

This UV-curable piezo inkjet printer can print on soft and hard substrates or textiles up to 8 cm in thickness. The printer operates in a cryogenic system, which avoids bending of temperature-sensitive materials such as fabrics, plastics, and large sheets of hard paper. The machine can provide 6-color printing with a resolution of 300 ~ 600dpi. The 2500 UV printer is equipped with a visual system with four monitors from which print operators can monitor the entire printing process.
