The American Fun Science website reported on November 18th that the idea of ​​using the patient's own adipose stem cells to make a 3D printed heart originated from Stewart Williams, director of administration and science at the Institute of Cardiovascular Research Innovation in Louisville, Kentucky. His lab has begun to develop a new generation of custom 3D printers that print out a complete heart that contains all the components - heart muscles, blood vessels, heart valves and electrical tissue.
